La Boule d'Or is the second oldest pétanque club in the United States and the first on the West Coast. Founded in San Francisco in 1959, the club is associated with the Federation of Pétanque USA and is affiliated with clubs throughout California and the US.
Members of the club can be found playing at the terrain in Golden Gate Park near 36th Avenue on Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons after 1:30 pm. Concours are held throughout the year. Check the events page for more information. |
