The San Francisco Basque Cultural Center was founded to promote and preserve the social and cultural identity of people of Basque ancestory who live in Northern California. Throughout the years our Gure Euskal Etxea has grown in size and expanded our programs to include education in Euskera, the native language of Euskadi, from young to old. We also continue our commitment to our favorite pastimes and sports like Mus and Pelota and dance.
We have opened our doors to the community in many other ways and will continue to provide social and cultural programs for our members and we are enthusiastic about introducing others to our culture and traditions.
